OK ... what I believe it will happen durring/after the US invasion.
1. American, Turkish & British soldiers will not engaged directly.
Kurds will go first with US air-support.
Did you notice that in the last years, the USA that accused Kurds as terrorists has suddenly recognized the tragedy of the Kurdish nation?
2. The UN plan for a solution to Cyprus will go on. The UN will ask from Turkey to withdraw its forces from the island. England will become responsible to guard Cyprus. Turks will scream out that they don't want to withdraw their forces. While they scream they will also start to concentrate their forces from Cyprus and the Aegean to their borders with Iraq. Greece will be happy.
After 27 years the UN suddenly discovered they had a solution for Cyprus
3. Just before Kurds clear the Northern Iraq, Turks will enter. They will probably use some excuse e.g. to protect the minority Turkmen there. They may also 'protect' all islamists from the fanatic Kurds.
Did you notice that an islamist won the last elections in Turkey?
4. To the southern border of the North no-fly zone Kurds and Sunni will engage in heavy fights. Their Turkish rearguard will secure the Mosul oil-fields.
Did you notice that this article says nothing about Mosul? The second oil field in Iraq, just some miles away from the Turkish borders.
5. Americans will take the initiative in Middle-East. A new plan for Israel-Palestine peace. Arabs will be happy.
Did you notice that there is a constant escalation of violence in middle-east the last year without an actual reason?
6. Americans will attack southern Iraq. Some oilfields will catch fire. USA will accuse Iraq that it is burning it's own oil fields. Ameicans do not import petroleum from the Persian Gulf, so they will be ok. EU will have to import petroleum from the russia new kaspian oilfields now.
Did you notice that the euro vs dollar is the most important economic battle the last year?
7. British, which will have a secondary role, they will bomb the Kirkuk oil fields in their attempt to protect the Kurds. Petroleum will go higher, pound will go higher, and UK will decide it's time to adopt euro.
UK is the only EU member that exports petroleum. And this EU member has not yet accepted a deal for a fixed value of pound/euro
